Lavender & Tea Tree Deodorant Balm 30g

Shea Butter: Rich in Omega 6, Carotenoids, Vitamins A, E and F, it has exceptional qualities to nourish and protect the skin, improving the skin’s natural barrier and protecting it from environmental damage. It also benefits from having anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, soothing and nourishing underarm skin.

Arrowroot: A natural absorbent that can help control odour and keep armpits dry. It also helps the body get rid of sweat without clogging pores, like some synthetic deodorants. Arrowroot powder’s natural starch composition can help sooth irritated skin and reduce redness. It can also help reduce skin staining that can be caused by synthetic ingredients in some deodorants. Arrowroot powder is also gentle enough for sensitive armpits and can improve skin texture. It contains vitamins and minerals like zinc, iron, potassium and vitamin B6 which can help soften the skin.

Bicarbonate of Soda: Only a very small percentage of bicarbonate of soda is used in this recipe. Although Bicarbonate of Soda is an incredibly effective deodoriser and is popular in many natural deodorant brands, we have decided to use only a very small percentage, instead, increasing the percentage of Arrowroot powder which has a better Ph value for your skin.

Coconut Oil: Intensely moisturising, and perfect for sensitive skin, Coconut oil has antibacterial and antiviral properties that can help eliminate odour-causing bacteria in the underarm area. It contains lauric acid, an antibacterial agent that can help with sweat and body odour.

Lavender & Tea Tree Oils: Natural deodorisers, they are antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory.

Directions for Use

Scoop a pea-sized portion onto your fingertip. Press under your armpit for a few seconds and allow to melt with the heat of your skin. Massage into the armpit with fingertips. NB: Please do not use on broken or newly shaved underarms.

Storage Tips

Due to the natural formula, the deodorant balm can soften in very warm conditions, but firms up again if placed somewhere cool. Therefore, please avoid high temperatures & direct sunlight.
